Strategy and Planning

Every campaign or programme, no matter how large or small, must start with a clear plan and strategy. Working closely with our clients, we ensure this aligns the goals of internal sales and marketing teams and applies clear metrics to measure success.

The need for strategy: a scientific approach to marketing

We want you to be successful. That means aligning the unique benefits of your offering with the pain points and challenges of your target markets. How do we do this? In one word,┬áresearch. Let’s not guess about what your customers are looking for and what they value,┬álet’s base this on data so we can be sure.

We kick off every campaign we work with a BioStrategy Day. Ideally, we’d visit your team at your offices and spend the day reviewing with you the market research you’ve done to date. That way we can be brought fully up to speed on the data available to drive strategy development, as well as identify any holes that need to be plugged with further research and analysis.

To help, we use a range of tools such as our Buyer’s Journey and Customer Profile systems. These allow us to accurately map how and why your customers might buy from you, and tap into this knowledge to create programmes based on knowledge, rather than guess work.

Once we have all the data we need, we use it to define your company and its offering, including your USPs and key benefit statements. This allows us to uniquely position you in the market. We then use this information to create a strategy that will deliver success, built on messages that will resonate. We then help you communicate these to the market via the optimal mix of channels, selecting those that will work for you and deliver the highest possible return on investment.
